Im 36 weeks and two days along in my very first pregnancy. My belly is very big! It is so tight and the slightest movements sometimes cause pain. Im just curious to know if any other mothers can give me some advice. Did your belly grow much more from this point on. Thanks!!!!!!

Yes you will. This is actually when your baby will do most of its growing and can gain a half a pound or more every week. You will probably gain at least a pound a week. I am 38 weeks with my second child. I was upset last week when I went to the dr. and found I had gained 3 pounds??? I did nothing different with my diet either. Just keep thinking it is almost over with. Soon your baby will drop a little and you will have a bit more room to breathe and move.

During the end of pregnancy, your baby will gain about 1/2 pound per week! So yes if you've got four weeks to go, I think your belly could definitely get bigger. I know how you feel, though! I just gave birth five days ago, and I wondered the same thing myself.

You shouldn't gain any more than a pound a week in the last weeks they say. I know my belly didn't grow any bigger from 36 on.

ha!!!!! How much do you weigh? if your overweight then that's probably the answer. if not then I'm sorry I can't help you.-unless that baby is really big, then that's why your really big,or you might be having twin triplets or something- by the way if your only 36 weeks in pregnancy then you got 4 whole weeks to go.Trust me I gave birth 2 weeks ago.

No, you won't get much bigger. The baby will take up more room in the bag of water in the future. It will be OK.
Trust me, I've been there... I'm only 5' 1" and I had twins that were 7 lb 0 oz and 5 lb 12 oz...!!

Believe it or not, you will still grow a little bit. I remember praying that I would go into labor at 37 weeks because I was so uncomfortable...I was induced at 41 weeks, and my daughter was 8lbs. 14 oz. I had started out at 140 lbs. (5'4" tall) and ended up 195 lbs. Ouch!

Well, I'm of course not a women but a King at that!! But I have seen where women keep growing and don't stop until they have the child and they drop the weight like a bad habit!
