No such bloody luck, they changed the small print on my policy re driving other Cars and I failed to notice last year, I could get nsurance for 40% less if i had not needed that benefit.
They would not budge so this year I ditched them, House , Bike, car insurance, all moved from Norwich Union after 30 odd years.
Just to Clarify I would recommend anyone to use an Insurer other than rip off merchant con folk Norwich Union.

lol good question. i would seriously like to cancel insurance with them, but because they are large they are cheapest i found and now that even more work is being sent abroad it will only get cheaper i guess, so peeps will probably take out more cover with them. i dont think peeps will sacrifice paying slightly more to say f**k u too aviva/noriwch union unfortunately, however i wish the whole country would take a stand and not use norwich union. this would serve them right!!! everyone knows foreign call centres are pants - if u go off the normal path of enquiry then they soon get stumped dont they and as for trying to understand them.... !!!
I live near norwich so it will have effect on surroundings and infrastructure here.

Norwich Union, in my my own personal opinion, are a pile of cow sh*te. The call centres in India are just an absolute frustration. Without wishing to sound racist, or anything else un PC, you can't understand them or get any sense out of them. I personally will not deal with any company that has offshore call centres through choice. Unfortunately I signed up to BT Broadband before I realised, so I am now stuck with the remainder of a twelve month contract before I can change.

Never had a ;policy with them cause they have always been amongst the dearest for any insurance, car, life , home, contents, building etc.

Also never been able to phone up and say "it's a hatchback", then get a quote either.

Yes I have because they are not as cheap as they claim, they don't want to know if you have any kind of problem and even if they do "qoute you happy", they start adding in extra costs later on! And their adverts are so annoying I need to insure my TV seperately as I may hurl a brick at it soon!

About 18 years ago they doubled all motorbike premiums over night. Didn't matter who you where if you drove a motorbike your premium was doubled. I left them immediately and have never returned - never will in the future either.

Good for you and I'll not be renewing my insurance with them either, so yet another customer bites the dust!
