Just curious. I like The Lord of the Rings and Terry Brooks' Shannara series. And Piers Anthony. And Dragonlance. Pern. Darkover. Oh yeah, David Eddings is good. So........what about you?

George R. R. Martin: Song of Ice and Fire.
Goodkind's good but not that good. Robert Jordan is WAY overrated. Robin Hobb's close, but her hero's whine too much. Piers Anthony would be great if he'd stop every new series after the second or third book. Terry Brooks is good, but I can't forgive him for starting his career with a blatant Tolkien ripoff. David Eddings was good until he started repeating himself too much.
