My wife likes to hit me and it hurts, I've never hit her back and she calls me gay because of this. Personally I think she is crazy but I do love her and am scared I might lose her if I don't comply with her demands of me being a real man by hitting her back.

Hitting doesn't make you a real man. I believe it takes more of a man to walk away, it would be much easier to lose your temper and hit her back. She should not be allowed to hit you and get away with it however. You need to put your foot down and tell her that the hitting has to stop, that you will no longer tolerate it. Then if it still happens I would go get some ligature for her to read regarding domestic abuse and tell her that she has a real problem and if she can't control it she needs to seek help and you will stand by her every inch of the way. But also let her know once again that you will not tolerate her hitting. Maybe she needs anger management classes or some type of therapy. Point out that what she is doing is a crime and she could get into legal trouble and has to serve jail time if it persist. I know you love her and this seems very harsh, but it's actually because you love her that you should do these things... She needs help!!!

Not only no, but h*ll no. If you are married to a nut that hits you then divorce the crazy b*tch. If you hit her back she can have you arrested. You probably don't believe this, but it takes more of a man NOT to hit a woman than one that does. Your wife needs counseling. The unbelievable thing is that you say you love her. I'm really sure she loves you too Right??? Stop being stupid and get away from her. If she calls you Gay then you have no reason to believe she loves you. She wants a punching bag. Get far away from her, she's nuts.

Why put up with abuse. Battered spouse syndrome goes both ways. Love is rough but sometimes situations call for hard choices and this choice is your own to make. But what's next " a real man shoots back" ? What is the possibility of this escalating or ending? Do you see an end at all, that does not involve one or both of you being seriously hurt?
Here is another scenario: What if she is pushing or goading you into hitting her back just so she can have you charged with assault? If I were you I would keep a log just to protect yourself.
But for now see a marriage counsellor.

Under normal circumstances no it is not ok to hit a girl. but it is not ok to let a girl hit you or threaten your life and not jaw jack her. I say it all depends on the circumstances and whether she asked for it or not. Just use good judgment if you do. Or you could just simply call the cops and let them know was up instead of hitting her and possibly hurting her then you may end up in the slammer
if you dont have proof to back up your side of the story!

I Personally think that some girls do need to get hit by a guy. They abuse the domestic violence thing a little to much, and I'm a women. But I hate to see somebody go to jail because of something this stupid, because the first thing she'll do is call the cops if you hit her too hard. Just leave her and save yourself so sanity.

Your wife seems to enjoy roughing you up a bit but don't take that personal...unless you really pissed her off...but other then that i understand where she's coming from...mabye she wants you to be rough with her back but don't knock her senseless...usually when a women hits a man even when she's not upsets symbolizes that she wants to be handled with...she wants this sexy strong man to throw her up against a wall and probably make love to her...you never know....just whatever you do don't hit her...just love her....

If I hit a guy I would EXPECT to get hit back. My mother always told me "you hit a man, you deserve to get hit back". I have gotten smacked around a few times in my life, but I learned my lesson and keep my hands to myself!!!!!!!!!!
You should knock the **** out of your wife the next time she puts her hands on you. Show her who's boss!!!!!!

I believe if a woman hits you she should be hit back,its not right for anyone to hit someone they love and i think she has some issues hitting you and wanting you to hit her back,i know you love her but maybe you should see a marriage counsler.

Sounds like it's not the hitting but the intent that's the problem. You should never hit in anger,but if she wants a little playful stuff perhaps you should explore "polite" ways of fulfilling her needs.
