A hyrbrid plant is one that is made from cross pollinating 2 other plants. For example, I know people whose hobbies are hybridizing day lilies, irises and camillias. But what you are talking about regarding cutting plants in a certain way is called grafting. Citrus plants are often grafted onto disease resistant root stock. Roses (except old garden roses) are also grafted.
I don't think an apple peach would work, many b/c they'd have to bloom at the same time and I do not know if they do. I've never heard of hybrid fruits, but it might be a possiblility.

The process of hybridizing plants can get very complicated very quickly. Best advice is to educate yourself on the subject by reading information available on the internet. A Yahoo search for "hybridizing plants" (include the quotation marks in the search box) yields 235 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find the information you seek.

Good luck with your search.

In different words, the flora interior proper the following era will resemble the ascertain flora. which means no longer in reality are those flora fertile, yet in addition they're going to make toddlers which will resemble the ascertain line (it truly is "authentic to style") that's solid. you could breed flora, crossing 2 (or more advantageous) distinct ascertain lines- the end results of the first year crossing can be a hybrid, in case you save breeding them, rouging out flora with undesirable or off style characteristics eventually after extremely some growing seasons the inhabitants ought to stabilize, growing open pollinated. A "hybrid" vegetable seed effects from the go or mating between 2 distinct kinds or "mothers and fathers" of an analogous plant species. oftentimes it truly is the first year of a go between to distinct ascertain lines. Seeds from the fruit of this hybrid, may be sterile. even if it truly is not, than the consequent flora ought to have all distinct characteristics from both one in each of it truly is mothers and fathers. This places the means into the fingers of seed businesses, really than farmers. Farmers desire to bypass back to the agencies/breeders year after year to purchase hybrid seeds/flora. With open pollinated seeds (as long as you pay interest to isolation distances if growing more advantageous than one style of a species) it ought to prevent your human being seed, and be saving money each year, as well because the great aspect about being that a lot more advantageous self sustaining. this can were more advantageous information than you needed, yet seed saving is a topic it truly is close to to my heart. the following is an outstanding article describing the ameliorations of OP's and F1 Hybrids
