I partcipated a lottery game on-line a few months ago, and about a week ago, I received a letter enclosed with a $2000 check.. The letter says that if I wire this $2000 "in cash" to them for tax and service fees, they will mail me $10,000 check of lottery winning award. he check has title of bank, phone number and a signature, so I assumed it is a real check. After a week I cashed the check and wire to the lottery company, my bank called and told me they had to return the check because the bank issued the check has "insufficient fund". Therefore, they had to take out $2000 from my account. (I am just a poor student ) Then I call the lottery company again, they were avoiding me and hinting that it's not their responsibility for the insufficient fund. Right now I am waiting for the check to mail to back me, and I will contact the bank that wrote the check, but who knows if it's even a "fake bank"?!
What should I do? Should I file law suit against them? How?
Thanks alot

let me tell you something, people will do anything for money, i received a lot of that in the past, fortunately, i have a friend who's brother work with the FBI and we kinda talked about it just for fun while drinking beer, and he did a little thing in the computer and found out this banks are fake, well, some of them are true, but there's no such thing as account number this and account number that. in short, they're bogus. well, with your money, i'm gonna be mean if i tell you good luck, but that's the only thing i can tell you. sorry, that this happen to you, it happen to me, too, but i didn't go that far in cashing the check. =(

you can file a lawsuit, but do you know who are they? Do you know who are the people behind it? if you can get more details about this/them, then you can, but i don't know what chance you're going to get.

again, good luck. =)

My dear girl it sounds like you've been scammed big time. If you win something you never should lose money. Why would they send you money and ask you to send it back. Next time be more careful. i hope it works out ok for you, thats a lot of money to lose.

it fairly is hassle-free to attraction to close. To win the united kingdom lottery you will desire to purchase a cost tag, which could purely be finished via paying £a million. in case you probably did not try this, you have not gained. who is going to purchase one for you and supply you the winnings?

What you should do is not be ignorant enough to participate in online lottery games. They are a waste of money, time, and stress which are not worth it.
