I have an Acoustic 370 bass head with 8 ohm speaker output. I want to buy a new speaker cabinet but most of them are 4 ohm. Will that be a problem?

Yes. Unless you are eager to fry your amp or speakers, avoid an ohm mismatch.

A fellow with some skill in low voltage wiring may be able to wire your speakers in either parallel or series to achieve a match, but it is far simpler to make the proper purchase to begin with.

Here is a group of reasonably-priced 8-ohm cabinets at Musician's Friend:

you can usually but its better not to. also look at the speakers often times right next to the speaker jack there will be a switch that can switch it to 4 ohm or 8 or 16ohm
the only real downside is the sound quality from the speakers wont be quite as good ie slightly distorted but it wont ruin it unless you crank them to 10 and run a powerd effects processor but by that time just get a mic for the cabinet
