What cough drops will keep my cough away longest and make my throat feel better?

anything with menthol in can feel like it is temporaily helping throat, but it actually makes the irratation causing it to be sore worse, it irritates it, best to get something with no menthol, even hard candies help, sucking on them stimulates saliva and helps keep throat moist. Halls has menthol, read the labels before buying, cloraseptic has throat lozenges that can help,

I like Halls. As far as the cough is concerned, just plain hard candy to suck on will help your cough.
The sore throat, well that could be a virus, strep or sinus drainage and is causing the cough.
An old remety is a mixture of honey, lemon juice and whiskey. (small portions)
If all persists, see a doctor. Pops

Honest to goodness, try this. IT WORKS. Zinc Lozenges.
You will not believe how a sore throat vanishes. I order mine from Puritan's Pride. As far as the cough goes hmmm...haven't found a miracle for this yet. Good Luck!

If your throat hurts bad, then I would use ricola, they may not taste the best but they work. If your throat doesn t hurt too bad then I would use ludin s, they work fairly well, but they taste really good.
