They are taking the number and doubling it and adding 1. 1+1=2+1=3, 3+3=6+1=7, etc.

u add the 1st number to the same number, and then u just add one. 4 instance: 1+1=2 2+1=3 and 3+3=6 6+1=7 and so on........
