If you are using MS Word then click on Format, then Paragraph and then change Line Spacing to Double.

No. You should only press the space bar ONCE after a period. Pressing the space bar TWICE was for when ppl used to type on typewriters. There are plenty of ppl that will argue this point, but they are wrong for typesetting these days. It is only one space after a period.

double space means there is a space between lines, not two spaces between words. Go to Format>Paragraph>Line spacing>double
