Now today I hear that Cower made Ben play with 104 degree temperature and 10 days after an appendectomy. He should have started Batch, who's been playing well, and brought in Ben to relieve Batch if Charlie wasn't getting it done. Cower needs to realize that Ben isn't Superman...

"Having said that", my Steelers got their butts kicked, big time! Yes, I'm a big time Steeler fan...But the Jaguars were all over the field on defense...someone needs to check those replays, it seemed to me that they had 15 or 16 guys on the field at a time! They were every where, and they were relentless!

It's been quite a while since I've seen THAT physical a game from BOTH sides... It wasn't a boring game, there were incredible hits all night long... it was probably the most exciting 9-0 game in history! LOL

Hats off to the Jags for their tremendous effort!

It was crazy!! As a steelers fan, I am disappointed that the Steelers lost. They are usually big on rushing, but this time they couldn't get nowhere!!! They could have done better. Although I am glad that big ben got to play. I honestly thought it would go into overtime with a score of 0-0!!! I guess this is what happens when 2 good teams go face to face. I hope the steelers do better on sunday against the Bengals!! They just have to get out there and run that ball & move the chains, like in the game against Miami.

Although I didn't watch it, I did read the recap. As a Steelers fan, needless to say I'm disappointed with the outcome. I think Big Ben came back way too soon from his appendectomy and wasn't 100%. I'm hoping that Sunday's game against the Bengals at Heinz Field brings better results and that if Rothlisberger isn't playing the way we Steelers fan know he can, the Cowher will not hesitate to put in Charlie Batch.

That was a helluva game between the two best defences in the league. Sorry that the Steelers lost, but hats off to the Jags. They brought their A game. I didn't understand Cowher keeping Ben in the game. Ben had a 104 degree temp. during the day and was obviously not at his best. Ben needed game time to get up to speed but I think Cowher sacrificed the game by keeping him in. Maybe Batch would have fared no better but still...
I think Cincy will have their hands full next week.

Go STEELERS! I belive Big Ben came back a little early, but I belive he was able to play. He is still a little rusty yet. Give him a few weeks. You have to give the Jaguars credit. They played awesome D. Watch out for this team in the future. The Steelers will come back strong next week. I believe we will beat the Bengals.

Jackonsville is that damn good after shutting out the Squeeler's, err Steeler's game. Last season, the Steelers were a mediocre team, and they went to the Super Bowl and won. Good luck playing Cincinnati on Sunday

That was one hell of a good game to watch. I noticed that before the game started the line for Jacksonville @ Indianapolis was Colts - 10.5. After the Jaguars victory it moved down to Indy -7. Interesting to see that the Wiseguys finally respect Jacksonville.

I was going for the Steelers too, but they both have great defense and that leads to a low scoring game. Big Ben didn't look like he was at his best, but then again the O line was breaking down on him. So who knows. Dunno if they're ready for the Bengals. That should be a good game.

I think the same thing I thought after the Superbowl, the Steelers are by far the worst team to win a Superbowl in the last 20 years.

No one is giving Jacksonville any credit. They played a hell of a game, and they came out on top last week against "America's Team", the Dallas Cowboys. Ben Wasn't lookin too good, but his recievers weren't catching anything either. I don't like Jax, but I thought they held their own against the champs, and then some.
p.s. Tampa was the worst team to win a superbowl
