He's a 14-year old freshman and swears that 90% of the guys in his school shave their legs. I find it hard to believe that any guy not on the swim team would do that. He's girl crazy and very popular...I just don't get it.

Now a days guys shaving their legs is cool besides being clean alot even shave there underarms...I personally think it's a good habit guys have now...They're less swetty and smelly that way!!!

i'd say about 15% of guys at my school shave their legs and pluck their eyebrows. Half of them are gay and want to attract other guys. The other half are straight metro guys that wear fashionable clothes and are friends with girls. ONe motivation may be to get closer to the ladies.... by being that one guy that girls can go to, so that they can talk about everything, shaving included. Somethines the girls will forget their straight and do things like change in front of those type of guys w/o noticing. On the other hand, some guys claim they like the feeling of smooth legs.
i hope you get what im saying. high school these days are alot diff. from yours.

3. Is he free from drugs and alcohol?
If you answer "yes" to these questions, be glad that leg shaving is all he is doing. Be proud, as well.

A few friends of mine shaved their legs, but 1 was a body-builder wannabe, another was a swimmer & the 3rd raced bicycles (he said it was easier to clean cuts & scrapes if there wasn't a lot of hair in the way)

I don't know what kind of high school he go 2, but down here in broward county florida none of the high school boys do stuff like that! I'm a freshman girl!

Yes Im in 10th grade some guys do and some dont. Most of the popular guys that i know do. Dont listen to what the other people are saying about him being gay its what they do. Probably because most popular guys are on the football team and all of them do it.

i am a mom and my son started to shave his legs when he was a freshman. but it was because he was in football and they would wrap his ancels and the tap would pull the hair on his legs. then he got hurt and they started to wrap his leg up to his thighs and he was shaving there. if he is not in any sport don't worry it is just a fase and he will soon to understand to do things his way and not fallow everyone around him.

I was gonna ask if he is on swim team.... swimmer's DO shave their legs. I dated a swimmer in high school and he shaved his legs, arms and armpits for swimming and so did my cousin. Not at all abnormal for swimmers. Don't worry about it.
