first u have 2 make a graph and label it at least 5 spaces up and 2 spaces across. Then the y axis is the line going up and down and the x axis is the line going across. and the first space in the ordered pair is the x or in your case 0.(0,5) and the y is 5(0,5). a and b are variables and variables are letters that substitute for numbers. when u graph an ordered pair, u have 2 go over horizontally how ever many spaces x is. in your case go over 0 spaces because that is what x is. then you go up however many spaces y is. go up 5 in your case.(PHEW) that was a long explanation but i hope you understand now. now i have to do my home work. lol

f'(x)=2 in simple terms plug in (x+deltax) for x in f(x)=2x+3 and distribute out. Or, in case you know the shortcut, you are able to in simple terms see that f'(x)=2. The decrease of a relentless is 0, and the decrease of 2x is two.
