In the Spring I have my windows cleaned by professionals inside and out. It's inexpensive and well worth it after a winter of slush gathering on the windows. Other than that, no. I do however give each room in my house a thorough cleaning every few months as needed. Spring cleaning was traditionally done because after a winter of closed windows and using a wood or coal stove, everything was soot covered. Most people today don't have that problem.

We do spring cleaning. The weather is mild enough to open up everything and also it's not too hot to be working outdoors. Without spring cleaning we would be bogged down in a sea of useless junk. It's a great time to purge all and then do maintennence keeping in the housework dept. which doesn't take as long and the time can be spent doing other activities.

We do a spring cleaning, and a fall cleaning. We wash all the ceilings, walls, light fixtures..etc.If the walls, or ceilings are bad, we will just put a new coat of paint on about every 4-5 years. Most of our walls, are wood panneling, so we just use a product called spray nine, it does a great job. We don't clean the carpets, or floors on a regular schedule, if the floors are dirty, we vacuum them, and the same with the tile floors. Of course, it usually has to be done, at least once a week..

I do my spring cleaning in the autumn when it cools down rather then getting hot. We are in spring now and today were having
29-30 or 84.2 86 degree Fahrenheit. So getting to hot already so I do it in autumn instead. I think as long as it gets done a good clean up then it should not matter.

I do. Not like in the old days. But I usually call it "clean out the closet day" That is when everything get cleared out . I keep the house pretty clean throughout the year, so there is no need to deep clean.
