how do i make a free website thats still makes my site look cool??

first you have to make your own pages, i mean the html files then you have to upload them to the web(you can upload them on any free hosting site, there's a bunch, just do a google search for free hosting), then you can go to a site like www.tk.com to register your site address for free (it would be like www.lolipop.tk) and it will direct the visitors to the site you have uploaded previously

I use tripod....usually all the freesite still suck but there are ways to add your own photos, google "how to build a web site" or "Designing web sites" if you look at examples they might help you out with some idea, its all about being creative. I like tripod cause they give you navigation but Geo's you can put your stuff anywhere on the site where as Tripod has like a structure you have to use.

There are two ways you can go - You can learn HTML/CSS (the best way), or you can use a "what you see is what you get" (WYSIWYG) program such as Front Page. It can be as difficult or more so to learn to use a wysiwyg program than it is the learn html, and if you code your website in html, the results will be much more satisfactory. Yahoo Geocities. How "cool" it looks depends on your knowledge of programming code such as HTML and CSS.
But as my father is fond of saying, "you get what you pay for". If you want free, you can get free but don't expect the quality to be great and free webspace normally has adverts on it (to pay for the space). Really, if I was you, I would upgrade and pay for some webspace. You would get rid of the adverts, get your own website name and it would look better generally.
