i downloaded a movie on my computer through limewire by my media player wont play it.. any suggestion or ideas to get it to play??

First, go to properties for the video file. See if it is a "wmv"(windows media video) or "mov" (apple quicktime).
You may need to download the correct CODEC for your media player.
If you download DIVX player (which is free), that should play any video file you download.

i tried that several times it takes forever..........i had to fidget for a long time but it never really worked properly
