Be honest. Could u imagine Jesus participating in Gay sex? May I be forgiven 4 such a picture but anyways could u?

Everyone says that in the Bible Jesus either doesn't talk about homosexuality. And if he does than that is not what he is really talking about.

But ask yourself this question?

Can u find me a passage in the Bible where Jesus says "Thou shalt lie with mankind as with women kind? Can u find me any passage where Jesus condones it.

If it's all equal then Why did God not address the homosexual union as he did the heterosexual union?

God condones over and over again about man and wife. Why does he never condone man and man or female and female?

What could that mean?

Do u think God just forgot to put something as important as that in the Bible?

Or perhaps was he counting on disgression.

Why did he never condone homosexuality in there find me a verse where he did?

There are other unions that r not condoned either of course all found in Leviticus

OOPS I FORGOT TO ADD THAT. I DO THINK YOU CAN BE GAY AND A CHRISTIAN MY BEST FRIEND IS A CHRISTIAN AND LIVING IN SIN TOO. I AM NOT SAYING YOU CAN'T LIVE IN SIN AND BE A CHRISTIAN . I KNOW YOU CAN BECAUSE I CERTAINLY SIN DAILY. I GUESS IT'S KINDA LIKE THIS QUOTE I HEARD. "THE SINGLE GREATEST CAUSE OF ATHEISM IN THE WORLD IS CHRISTIANS WHO PROFESS JESUS WITH THEIR LIPS AND GO OUT THEIR AND DENY HIM BY THEIR LIFESTLYE." WE ALL MESS UP WE'VE ALL DONE THAT. BUT I MEAN TO MAKE SUCH A BOLD STATEMENT. IT'S LIKE THIS WE ALL SIN BUT WE TRY NOT TO DO IT AGAIN. BUT GOD DID SAY THAT WITH HOMOSEXUALS HE WOULD ALLOW THEIR HEARTS TO BE HARDENED SO IT'S NOT LIKE GOD EVER TURNS HIS BACK ON ANYONE BUT HE DOES SORTA JUST LET THE FISH SWIM IN THE FISHBOWL INSTEAD OF HOLDING THE FISH BOWL IN HIS HAND.THAT WAS SUCH A WEIRD EXAMPLE. IT'S LIKE HE TAKES HIS HANDS OUT OF THE WATER AND STOPS INTERFERING. TO THE GIRL THAT SAYS GOD ISN'T ANGRY WITH HER. YOUR'RE RIGHT IT'S NOT ANGER IT'S SADNESS IT'S GRIEF.

I am a lesbian, and I am Christian. God created and loves us all and He makes no mistakes! If God didn't create homosexuals, there wouldn't be any!
everyone sins to some degree, but I am not a sinner just because I'm a lesbian!
and we are sick to DEATH of you using Christianity to justify your bigotry! preaching intolerance is not a family nor a Christian value! you should be ashamed of yourself! you are not a true Christian! all of my friends are Christian and NONE of them are as ignorant and intolerant as you are!
do you forget all the other "sins" in the Bible which, as time has passed and times have changed, people no longer consider them to be sins?
Dear Conservative Christian,

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I
have learned a great deal from you, and I try to share that knowledge
with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind him that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to best follow them.

a) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a
pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They
claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

b) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

c) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

d) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

e) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an Abomination (Lev 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

g) Lev 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my eye i require reading glasses would my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?

i) I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev 24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help.

Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

Your devoted disciple and adoring fan.

p.s. who ever said anything about Jesus participating in gay sex?
good grief!
get over your holier-than-thou self!

Look, you seem really confused about being gay. Obviously you've been raised as a strict Christian and I sence that you're just noticing that you have strong homosexual tendencies.

Well darling, I have really great news for you.
GOD LOVES YOU, regardless of your sexuality.
Always remember the Bible was writen by human hands. Hands which were just as likely to have had an agenda as any other human. Humans who were just as likely to be mislead or influenced by power, as any other human.
Also know that when the books of the Bible were written, it was a completely different time frame and most people's view of the world was extremely myopic.

Yes you can be christian and Gay! Why? Because I don't believe the men who wrote the bible! Many claim to be inspired by God when they are writing something or preaching something but we are all imperfect and our own hang ups and judgments can come into what we put out. I do believe in the accounts of Jesus though since they all seem to to be cohesive and in accordance with one another. Jesus never mentioned Homosexuality let alone condemn it. He did however preach Love and acceptance, He let us know God reads Hearts, He let us know we were all made in Gods image and God made no mistakes! He let us know reserve Judgment for God and keep it moving. I find it totally crazy that homosexuality was only mentioned b4 and after Jesus!

to find even a hand full of Christians that have never sinned is hard. Most Christians have sex before marriage or have dis-respected their parents at some stage. It's impossible to be the perfect christian. I'm a gay christian and i haven't had anything bad happen to me that isn't a part of everyday life so God isn't angry with me. If it was truly wrong to be gay then we would not be created this way. God made us to be lovers not haters and his boundaries on love whether stated in the bible or not are proven by the fact that gays exists. I love God and i believe that he in return loves me like he loves all of his creations.

Just think about it for a minute. People say you can't be Christian if you are gay because it is a sin, but so are many other things. All Christians have sinned so what makes a homosexual any different. If you lie does that mean you can't be Christian? no it doesn't, everyone who is a self-described Christian sins and if some Christians can forgive murderes they can accept homosexuals just as well. every christian sins homosexuals aren't any different.

Of course people can be Christian and gay.

However, it is impossible for people to preach bigotry, hatred, discrimination and therefore violence against LGBT and still call themselves 'christian." This is hypocrasy at its worst.

Also, people who say "love the sinner, hate the sin" are vicious hypocrites who obviously hate both.

Why not try tolerance, peace, love and understanding for a change? WWJD?

p.s. Note all the other Leviticus passages supplied above that you conveniently ignore. Also the whole "judge not" part - hypocrite.

Sorry Christian is just not my thing. Go ahead and do Christian if you want, but really, worshipping some geezer who had the misfortune to get himself nailed onto a piece of wood 2000 years is hardly enlightened behaviour.
Ok so Christians have done some good stuff in the past, but they've also done some really dumb and nasty stuff too.
Anyway none of Christ's mates were gay, even though Mary Magdalene might have been a ho.
But come to think of it 12 guys and god on earth could have been a great daisy chain!

mmmk92- Can u find something in the bible that Jesus spoke against it? He never mentions it! Tell me where there is a verse where he said he would never condone it! Even this subject is not in our ten commandments! You can be a spiritual person and be anything-who says you can't believe in Jesus and be gay?

Do you own slaves? Are you the property of a man? Do you condone divorce? Have you ever sold a child to pay off a debt? Have you had sex out of wedlock? Have you killed any fortune-tellers lately or any false prophets?

Keep in mind the bible says Divorce is punishable by death; as is having sex out of wedlock. All the rest of those questions God approves of.

Redcat - that's just about the dumbest thing I ever heard! You might as well say God didn't make any mistakes, if God didn't create any pedophiles, murderers and rapists there wouldn't be any.

Homosexuality is prohibited in scripture, of course we all sin but the point is not to take pride in sin, not to argue it is a "valid life style" choice. Not to promote it.

Love the sinner hate the sin
