All my boys had slow heartbeats and the girls had fast above 145 but many ppl say it doesn't make a difference.

Yes, everyone told me that I was having a boy because of the lower heart rate (just friends, not the tech who did the ultrasound) and they could not really tell with the ultrasound and I had a girl.

The heart rate cannot determine the sex of the baby. I would suggest that you try to get another ultrasound, which are not always 100%. Good luck!

you cant go by the heart beat. I am having a boy and his heartbeat stays around 150. However, my friend is due only 2 weeks after me, she is having a girl and hers also stays around 150-155. I would just wait and have another one done to be sure of what you are having.

The heart beat thing isn't always acurate. IF your doctor thought it was a girl - it probably is a girl. My doc could tell right away with my two sons and did the...I think it is a girl with my daughter.
Best of Luck to you! Congratulations!

That is an old wives tale! The BPM just tells you if your baby is being active or not. My son was around 140-160 for each visit. It will get higher depending on if your baby is kicking and moving or lower if your baby is sleeping.

Congratulations! I don't think that a baby's heart rate is a true indicator of gender. It is more like an old wives tale.

First of all don't listen to the doctor, listen to the tech that did the Ultrasound. My doctor was wrong, for all three of my children, but the tech was always right.
