Will the Lions season pretty much be over where they have little/no chance of making the playoffs while the Tigers are still playing?

I dont think the Lions will ever be good as long as the Ford family owns them. The Lions sell out every home game so there is no incentive for the Ford's to put together a good team. Detroit is a really good market for football and thats why they sell out. The Tigers are playing meaningful games right now because they are playing for the Central Division championship. The Tigers will make the playoffs whether it be the Wild Card or being division champs. But for the Tigers to go deep into October they have to start hitting the ball much better. Also, Bonderman and Verlander have to start pitching well.
