Yes, they are a part of your anatomy and are always there. If you mean can women produce milk when not pregnant, they can but it is rare and hard to do.

FYI Men also have milk ducts and can produce milk under certain circumstances.

The milk duct is part of the anatomy of the breast. Pregnancy does not generate them. Pregnancy does however stimulate the production of milk.

I have milk ducts, and I *KNOW* I'm not pregnant; I had a vasectomy almost ten years ago... :-)

yes,,i still produce a milky substance and havent had a natural birth in 21 yrs

Yes, they are part of the breast...had to have one of mine removed last year because of infection...
