As for the family, definitely Homer. As for the show, I want to say Gil. Undecided on favorite episode or season.

As a side note, seasoned Simpsons aficionados will note that a very convincing case can be made that Homer is a little curious, sexually, despite his being married. Homer's whininess and slight feminine tendnecies are largely what make him so adorable and hilarious.
