I mean this in the nicest way possible, but I realize it is kind of rude: is it because you have no life and/or are too lazy to get off of your chair and do something else?
Those are the reasons I find those things addictive, so I was just describing myself. Also, its interesteing to learn things and ask any question you wish to hundreds of strangers.

Because we think we are actually making a difference in someone Else's life. When really we are just kidding ourselves that we are doing anything more than crossing the days off our lives.
