I think you followed your gut instincts at the time and probably did the right thing!

You mean from the water in the fountain? I've heard you can drink it in Rome. I was there and I didn't try it though. Its probably best not to accept drinks from men you don't know in foriegn countries. Did someone try to sell you flowers there? Just wondering.

Someone once told me that shoulding on yourself doesn't feel good, it doesn't do you any good, and it really stinks! :-) If you feel that you've let possibilities/opportunites slip by you - for whatever reasons - just resolve to be more attentive to your life and desires in the future. Why waste time in regrets and 'what ifs?'

Thank god you didn't, anything could have happened! Your drink could have been spiked and you could have been raped or had stuff stolen - my cousin was approached and she said brightly, (taking out her mobile phone) Okay, but first let me take your pictures and email them to my brother - they soon walked off really quickly too.

Regardless of where you are at, you should be careful accepting drinks from men you do not know.

I think if u should have talked to them and gotten to know them before making a judgement on whether or not you want to go or not..... but apparantly you really didnt want to or else u would have said yes.
