I -as well as any other red-blooded American - would LOVE to see the Yankees win a Subway Series against the cross-town rival New York Mets.

GO YANKEES!

Subway Series 2006!

That would be great for NY but bad for Baseball. (I am a yankee's fan) But when the 2 biggest pay rolls square off it usually makes the smaller teams look even worse. I personally would watch it but I think most people would not watch it and rateings would go down.

why i'm not a yankee fan:

definition of a Yankee fan:

1.) balding white conservative with a beer gut screaming for his downtrodden wife to get him a cold one

2.) mouthy *** fan screaming from the stands and throwing bottles or sharp objects at players from opposing teams

3.) benchwarmers for their highschool teams who talked the loudest but never went anywhere in their dreams of glory

4.) cry and complain when George "old windbag" can't buy another world series title with his $3 billion dollar payroll

AND

5.) beats on his kids, plays bumper cars with pedestrians/other drivers, and thinks the world owes him a World Series ring.

go buy yourself a New York Times and use it as toilet paper for your overhyped, overrated and overpaid team!

paid for by: a loyal Boston Redsox fan tired of hearing Yankee fans whine every year!:)

Yeah...I think it would be really cool to see that again. Even more so this year since it will be Mgrs Joe Torre vs. Willie Randolph. It would be exciting and interesting to see. I'd feel bad to see Willie lose but am loyal to the Yankees!!!!!

it truly is a difficult question. The Yankees play interior the AL East with Boston and Tampa Bay, and that on my own ability the Yankees have more advantageous competition than the Mets do interior the NL East. So, that ought to offer the Mets a more advantageous acceptable danger proper there although. nonetheless, Tampa Bay received't sneak up on or wonder communities this year like they did very last year. also, with the all the more advantageous video games interior the postseason, Tampa Bay's pitchers threw a lot more advantageous innings than they ever have. Who is definitely-known with how they're going to postpone over the completed season. depending on the point of difficulty interior both divisions, and the actual undeniable reality that the AL is more advantageous acceptable, i ought to offer the Mets the area in getting to the international sequence. nonetheless, i imagine the Phillies deserve slightly credit. certain, the Mets blew the lead, even with the indisputable fact that the Phillies nonetheless had to bypass accessible and win, which they did below pressure. The Mets had the lead, and misplaced it. The Phillies had to bypass and get it.

Hell Yeah! I think the odds are about 2-1 for it to happen too. Both teams are the best in their repective leagues.
