The old WB and UPN wasn't that "popular" as FOX, ABC, CBS, etc. So, the ratings for the shows that were on those 2 channels weren't as high as the ratings for shows on..say ABC or something.

That's why UPN and WB merged and made the new CW channel. :D

Because it is a local station. Not nationally syndicated. Only those like, CBS, NBC, ABC and cable shows can be rated. It would be unfair to give Emmy's to shows that only one state could watch. But I have a problem with some cable shows going up against network shows. Why should Sopranos win over Grey's Anatomy. Even though I like Sopranos I still don't think it's fair.

I don't know, but Smallville, Supernatural, and One Tree Hill are such good shows. They're creative and never get recognized for it.

I totally agree with you, especially about Gilmore Girls, Lauren Graham should've won an Emmy or at least been nominated years ago.

gilmore girls was nominated and veronica mars was bout to be nominated, but some of them arent good enough
