i went to the dr last friday and was 2 cm 50% which was great news to me at least things are progressing. since saturday i have been having cramps diahrea shooting pains in my "crotch" nausea and vomiting headaches and still more mucus which i thought would be all gone now since im 2 cm i guess i was wrong....so i feel like now im only waiting for the contractions to start. i know most people are going to say there is no way to tell when...or he will come when he is ready...but i was just hoping that even just from experience someone might be able to tell me an idea of what im looking at time wise....if i am looking a long haul still or if based on what im feeling i should go make sure everything i need is in my bag...??

Always make sure your bag is packed! However it will still probably be a couple weeks before the baby comes. Hard to hear I know, but you don't want it to be to early anyways. Good luck!

Unfortunately going into labor is fairly unpredictable. I'm due on Oct 10th and VERY ready to give birth as well. I was 4 cm and 80% effaced at the Dr on Friday. I figured I would go into labor that night, but here I am 4 days later and still pregnant! ARGH! The diarrhea and nausea are good signs though, neither of which I'm having.
Good luck!

All I can say is what happened to me,
I was 2 CM dialated 3 weeks before my daughter was born,
4 CM dialated when I went into the hospital,
And she was born on my due date exactly.

But I was anxious for her to come as well, so I did a lot of walking and stuff-- I don't know if that helped or not. But if you are in good health to excersise it will not hurt.

Good luck!

God was nice when he gave us castor oil.......if hes ready you will go into labor, if hes not....hell ya already have the runs! It works great and you won't notice the taste in either a smoothy or a milkshake!
