what i want to know is...when a person is struck speechless...they always say "i'm speechless"...WTF?!

yes, here's the story.
I was on a class trip, we were doing this thing where we all sat in a circle, there's this kid, Trevor, who's always bugging me, and telling many jokes that are at other peoples expense. right then, he said I was bullying him, and all my friends turned on me, they took his side! that, is when I was struck speechless.

A friend of mine once told me that he loved my name, but he had a nickname for me that sounded so similar to my real one. When I asked what it was, he was a little hesitant, but he said," It's I'd eat 'cha." I could do nothing but smile.

Yes, ususally when you are surprised or shy...you know what you are going to say beforehand...bu when it comes your time to speak...you totaLLY balnk out
