Mass cannot be measured directly. Only the weight of an object can be measured, and then the mass can be calculated from the weight.

You can measure weight with a force meter or a balance.

Any such device can be called a scale, and there are lots of different kinds, varying for measuring things from diamonds to railroad cars.

just studying physic and u will get how to calculate the mass. Actually it is derived from calculating the weight...if u want to weight the mass..just weight at the outer space.

not scales, thats for sure they measure weight, an accelerometer could be used
