"Smile" was sung by more than one artist, including Nat King Cole, who sung it in 1954. Other artists that have remade it include Elvis Costello, Lyle Lovett, Michael Buble, and Josh Groban. But I think the one you're looking for is Nat King Cole.

The person that sang "Rain drops keep falling on my head" was BJ Thomas he released that in 1969. I. but I don't think BJ thomas ever sung the first song

that's a standard. It was probably written by the same guys that wrote that other song, but they were song writers. Back in those days, the writers wrote, the singers sang, and rarely crossed that boundary. "Standards" were songs that were hits, then fifty different artists would record it, over and over again. it was way different back then. So lots of people sang it. If you're looking for a specific version, I would recommend googling the lyrics and the location where you heard it, like a movie, commercial, cartoon, tv show, etc.
