i heard in the 1.2 frimware update there is a screen brightness feature for the older ipod nanos... well mine is not there, could you tell me how to get it or how to find it, i looked in settings for screen brightness, and it is not there. i did fine back light timer though... pls help

Actually Amanda is wrong, the new iPod Nano screen has changed, the screen is now 40% brighter then the iPod Nano that you have. I doubt there is a firmware update that can make your iPod screen brighter, as that is a hardware issue, and it has to do with the backlight they updated on the new iPod. goodluck!

No that's only for new Ipod 5th gens. I don't even think the new nano screen has changed.

attempt turning it off.. long press the play/pause botton then turn it lower back on.. if there remains no gentle performing i think of its been broken.. it shouldnt be that way.. coz in case you already tried restoring and stuff and nonetheless not something occurs i think of you will desire to have it checked by potential of somebody from apple already.. coz there ought to be a topic which incorporate your ipod's liquid crystal show..
