I never got a violation for a question i asked but i did for an answer I gave and it was a petty violation there was nothing wrong with my answer someone didn't like what I said(and it wasn't ther person who asked the answer either) and they had people turn me in. I even contacted yahoo questions and answers and told them how I felt about it and to argue my point. They did get back to me and say they where going to look into it. I haven't heard back from them yet. I asked a question on here about it, it's in resolve questions if you want to see it.

Just today I was violated for an comment I made on someones airhead question.(first violation for me ;-(..) I didn't even cuss or say anything vulgar. Only answered the way a smart person would answer an airhead question...I don't think they even checked what I said...I emailed Yahoo to ask why but got an answer directing me to the rules link...no answer from them...I forwarded my comment to several friends and they agree, I said NOTHING that was too bad...they said they've seen alot worse answers than mine...Yahoo people...such a pity...

Yeah. I got one on an answer. Just because I said. "two points" and the asker turned me in. I didn't even say her question was stupid or anything like that. Now that I think of it, I should have said a lot of things, then she could have had a real reason to be offended.

Yep, I have, and I don't think they do check the questions first, but am not 100% sure about that.
