I had a miscarriage about three weeks ago. I had to have a d&c on the 7 because of how far along I was. Well come to find out I had a molar pregnancy which devistated me because from what I found out it happens 1 in 1500 pregnancies....why me? but anyway my question is me and my boyfriend had sex on the 11th even though my doctor said to wait 4 weeks. Can anything bad happen to me because we've had sex and continue to besides what the doctor said? why do they tell you to wait?

They tell you to wait so your body can heal, so your cycles resume, and so the lining of your uterus has time to normalize again.

you can get an infection and hemmorage.
