I met Cillian Murphy when he was an unknown, up-and-coming actor in a very good play called 'Disco Pigs', in 1996 or so. He was a friendly, slightly goofy young guy. There is nothing crazy about him, as far as I know. He just keeps being cast as psychos by unimaginative American casting directors.

Cillian Murphy can be crazy all he wants 'cause he's gorgeous.
He has one of the best pair of lips on mankind!
And the eyes, those eyes!
Even the accent, I don't care he's skinny!

Who says he's crazy?? I think he's pretty cool, I liked him in Batman Begins and Red Eye

I agree with previous answers, I think he's a good actor and so interestingly sexy and intriguing.

maybe because he sometimes looks a bit scary and he usually plays quite unusual/disturbed characters.

i think it was the fame he found when he played the nut-job in batman begins...i don't think he's crazy...i think he is beautiful.....
