I have a really thin upper lip, whereas the lower one is of normal size. Do you know any make up tricks to make it look fuller? And I also hate it when I smile because it disappears and I look stupid!!Any ideas??

thx

enough with the lip plumping!!! when you apply your lipcolor, try to make the color you use on the upper lip just slightly lighter; (light colors make something look a little larger) if that's not practical, use a slightly lighter lipcolor on both lips....the overall effect will be a slightly larger upper lip....you could also use some of the makeup base you wear on the upper lip, let it dry thoroughly, then apply your regular lipcolor; the lighter base will 'enlarge' your upper lip....you'd have to experiment with this, but it's better than spending money on the other junk!!

Before you apply any lip stuff, put scent-less, original brand chapstick on your lips. Then put a dab of Maybelline Wet Shine Diamonds (or other moisturizing lip stick) on your finger and smudge it on your lips. Then, use Rimmell Vokume Boost lip gloss to top it off. Voila! -If it's for a picture, roll up a small piece of paper and stick it under your top lip. Instant volume!

1. Buff your lips by brushing your lips with a wet toothbrush
2. Apply gloss from the center of your lips and spread it around, always have the most gloss at the center of your lips.
3. Use a sparkly and ultra shiny gloss to make a full effect

omg i have tiny lips. the best thing i have found is to find a lipliner and lipstick very very close to your natural lipcolor, then outline your lips (this will take some practice to not look fake). the outline should be on the very rim of your lip. then fill it in with the lipstick, and use a little bit of lipgloss right in the center of your lips (don't use it on your entire lip or it will be too much)

Try lining the lip in a nude/neutral color lipliner. Outline just outside of your natural lipline.Don't try to draw on a fake lipline. Also you could try highlighting the upper lip with a shimmer gloss after you've applied color.

Use a lip liner on the top side of your lips and also dab a bit of gloss on top of your chosen lipstick.

I'm sure you don't look stupid but if you are that insecure about it then here's my advice. Go to Bath and Body Works they have a great lip plumper chapstick, it really does work, however it is temporary, also you could use lip liner. If you still feel really insecure just go get fat injected into them, its pretty pricey though.

Create open wounds on top of upper lip. 3-4 is optimal. Then, use a mixture of a hot sauce and salt and rub thoroughly. Do this for around 3 minutes, in the morning and at night before bed.

Good luck.

At Sephora you can get lip gloss that can plump your lips. Ask someone to help you find it. One of the brands is City Lips.
