A Total of 784 British men and women, soldiers and civilians were killed in Palestine between the year of 1945 and 1948. In the attempt to bring peace and stability to Palestine, its obvious they died in vain. RIP.

I dread to think, and the toll goes on:( I often wonder what would have happened if we (UK) had given the jews Cyprus as was suggested!
