The idea of cloning came about to bring up the populations of endangered species. I wouldn't want to clone people because there is already 6 billion of us. How does anyone die making a clone?

Cloning in and of its self is not wrong, but when people get the idea that the exact some being will be made I feel they are wrong, because even identical twins are never completely the same. Your mind cannot be remade. Only the cells, not your personality.

Cloning animals (humans as well) is moraly and ethically meritless. Human beings and animals should not be manufactured. In the world we live in, the powers that be are far too corrupt to be trusted with this kind of program and will inevitably use it for evil. Look in history. Nearly every new technological or scientific discovery has been corrupted for non-peaceful agendas.

Is cloning even a good idea in a world that is getting so overpopulated that we are wiping out other species totally, for development? Personally if we don't have room for our population now, why would we want synthetic people?

against, no matter how closely the dna matches there are events in everyones life that form who we are. You could have two clones raised in totally opposite families, one poor and abused and one rich and loved, they are not going to be the same people. Nurture over nature.
