Go up 1/3 on the y-axis. From that point, go up 2 more and right 3. Connect this second point with the 1/3 on the y-axis. After drawing that line, put arrows on the ends.

Slope is rise over run 2/3 is your slope. a good point to plot first is 1/3 it is the y-intercept which is where the line you are drawin crosses the y axis. once you plot that point you can go 2 units up then three units to the right. after you plot a few points you should get a straight line. and if you have a graphing calcultor just plug it in to that

y = mx + b (m = slope ... b="y" interecpt)
so m = 2/3 b=1/3 (y intercept = the point (0,1/3)
slope (delta/change) y divided by (delta/change)x ....describes the changes in the relationship of y & x ....

if the change in y is 2 ...add 2 onto the y intercept value of 1/3 to be 2 1/3 ....
the change in x is 3 (add to y intercept value of 0 to be 3)
the second point by definition is (3, 2 1/3)
connect these points to achieve the line y = 2/3 x + 1/3

It is the straight line that crosses
the y axis on 1/3 (0,1/3)
the x axis on -1/2. (-1/2,0)

3y=2x+1
find two ordered pairs

when x=1 y=1
when x=4 y=3
now plot the points
the line is ready
