Im a member of the Triangle foundation and the HRC. They get donations from me, I do attend some functions such as comedy shows and pride ralleys. Im a lesbian. It makes me feel that I am doing something to help increase tolerance and awarness of equal rights in my community.
I used to belong to a LGBT support group when I first came out. It really helped me to meet more people like myself, understand the issues surrounding lesbian, gay relationships, and just to feel better about my choice of coming out of the closet.

I'm a former councelor for a GLBT community center. I lead support groups for GLBT and Questioning youth.
I also volunteer for a couple of GLBT civil rights organizations as well as being the GLBT Caucus Chairperson for my state's chapter of Young Democrats. It's mostly a supervisory role since my age restricts my ability to being too active in the organization.
I'm also a card carrying member of the ACLU, AVER (American Veterans for Equal Rights) and a donating member of the Gerber/Hart library and archives.
Personally, I'm a lesbian with Bi tendencies. I'm currently in a ten year relationship with my female partner.

I am a member of a transgender group. We meet once every two months and operate an on-line forum.
I am bi and gender challenged.

Well..not a "support Group" per say but Both the HRC(Human Rights Campaign) and the ACLU get regular donations from me...

I was an active member of a transsexual support group. I've kinda stopped going recently for a couple of reasons. I'm a queer genderqueer transsexual woman.
