How do I adjust the tension on my machine?

The thread on the top keeps caught on the bobbin in the bottom.

Thre is a knob that adjusts tension. Reading you manual is a good idea also. Newer machines are like throw aways anymore. The bobbin area accumulates dust from the fabrics. It sounds like your tension is too tight. Are you sure you are stringing it right. I know the newer machines do wear out fast though.

what type of machine are you talking about? is it a motorbike?.
