Today hen I peed it wa yellow and then some of it looked darkish red but, there was nothing on the tissue and nothing in my underwear though. About three days ago it was a BIG brown spot in my undies (or was the brown spot dried up discharge?) I just turned thirteen about two weeks ago.

It might be. Discharge doesn't dry brown. When you bleed into your undies, it dries a brownish color, so it might be your period. But if your pee is red, you may want to talk to someone about it. It could be some kind of bladder infection or blood left in your area that the urine washes away with it. Tell your mom, because it's probalby your period and moms need to know about this stuff.

It might be your period... See if it goes on for a couple of days, and in the mean time, wear a pad or a pantiliner. If any blood comes out on that, you most likely got your first period! But if it doesn't and you just keep peeing a darkish red, it might be a bladder infection or something like that. If that keeps on happening, tell your mom and she'll take you to the doctor.

yep that's probally it. for me little red spots showed up when i "went potty" the about an hour later it stoped then 2 months later i had a full period that was about a year ago so from what i know that;s probally it. you should tell your mom then or if you aren't comftorable yet wait a day and tell a friend and ask her for a pad or the school nurse. i waited a day and my mom was fine with it. it happens to every girl so it would be ok to tell a friend she would understand. and you might want to ask your mom for midol for the cramps too. i sucks i know but be happy it would of happened any way!

Yes that is your first period. congrats! I'm 12 and I just got it this august during vacation. Since it's your first, I think it might come every other month, but just to make sure where a pad on that same day every month. It will probably last for about 7 days since it's your first. :) Good Luck!!

yeah it is your period. when you have your first period, you wipe it usually does not show brown/red. but yeah you started it. cuz when i started mine it was brownish and i wasnt sure until the next day when it was redish! and also when you first start it takes a long time before some shows up in your undies.

you may be starting your menstrual cycle sounds like dried up blood in your underwear that happens in the beginning before your period starts the full flow

Sounds like your first period, but to be sure talk to your mother or doctor about it, darkned or bloody urine can also be a bladder infection.

yes that for sure what your first period. that same thing happend to me when I was 12. I was scared because I didnt think it was supposed to be that dark. the longer you have your period the more red it will look. but you're normal dont worry :-)
