i LOVED him in
The Truman Show
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind..
trust me, eternal sunshine is AWESOME...*but* u have to watch from beginning to end, it starts making a lot of sense halfway thru ( the first half comes off kinda confusing, but it really comes together halfway to the end, and u understand WHY it was confusing in the beginning ). the truman show is good/sad too.. cuz people were messing around with his life, and u see a lot of real anger and confusion and "crazy" ness, but not comedy crazy. they're really good!

He starred in The Majestic which is not a comedy. Depending on how you look at it Man on the Moon is a drama about the life of a comedian. So there are some funny parts but the overall story is true and sad. There is also Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It is more of a head-trip than anything. All 3 are good movies in my opinion. I would reccomend any of them.

I've seen an older movie on Lifetime called something like "Doing Time Maple Drive" - about a disfunctional family - it's a serious movie, and Carrey plays the eldest, alcolholic son.

The Truman Show. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Majestic. to name a few.
Believe it or not, so has Adam Sandler. .. Go rent Spanglish... it is an awesome movie. By the end you won't even realize that it was him.
Enjoy!

well he was funny but also serious in the movie Bruce Almighty. i think that the movie shows his many faces and i actually like watching it eventhough i am not a Jim Carey fan-he actually did his best work yet in that movie.
