ok i really need help with my new mp3 player...i know nothing about it.?

it didn't come iwth a manual....the brand is tychonic ..i ordered it from hong kong. well it came but theres no manual....i stuck the usb cord in the computre and hooked it up to mp3 player..but i don't know how to get songs on there...nothing popped up. what do i do to get songs on my mp3 player?

Once you plug your player in the USB, the player should appear on your computer as a new disk (check on my computer from the start menu). At that point just copy and paste MP3 files from your computer to the new disk (your player).

If you don't have any mp3 files you can buy them from napster.com or you can dowload some stuff for free on myspace.com.

First of all if it came with a CD you must install the programm which you use to put the music to the mp3 (this is essential) and then you must follow your instincts. If you don't have a CD you may plug the mp3 to the computer and then go to My PC (or My Computer) and look for a strange input (in the part you have 31/2 or the CD, etc) , open it and try to copy paste your songs in it. If not you must search in the internet for the main web page and go to help, write a mail explaining what is your problem or get the number and call there and ask for help. You didn't say which model, but it doesn't much matter. Most of the players with cords require a special program to handle moving songs in and out of the player. The company's website (http://www.tychonic.com/download.htm) has player managers for several models. Beyond that, you'll need to ask the company for help.

Try synching with windows media player. It may also show up as a drive in My Computer. If it doesn't install at all, there may be a problem with it or the battery might be dead.
