it's all relative, it depends on when your teenage years happened.
mine was the 80's rockers vs mods. my parents would say the 60's, my older sister the 70's and my 7 year old son will probably say the 10's as thats when he will be a teenager.

60s, The Beatles,The kinks, The Stones. We had both the Mini car/skirt. We had decent TV and in colour, The first man in Space without the drugs. We are what we are now because of that era, we still play the music, drive the Mini. Great time to be a teenager !

I really enjoyed late 60s and 70s to Mid 80s music, after that it became a bit crap to say the least! I loved the happy music groups such as Chic, Chicago, Rose Royce, Sister sledge, Kool and The Gang, Commodores,BeeGees etc etc

Unquestionably the sixties artist like Hendrix, Free, zeppelin, moody blues, deep purple, the doors, pink floyd, even the Beatles and the stones revolutionised the whole scene. Today's performer's will never be in the same league
