6y - 3 = 6y + 8
6y = 6y + 8 - 3
6y = 6y + 11
6y/6y = (6y +11) / 6y
1 = (6y / 6y) + (11 / 6y)
1 = 1 + (11 / 6y)
1 - 1 = (11 / 6y)
0 = 11 / 6y
The only way 11 / 6y can equal 0 is if y = infinity.
y = infinity

6y-3=6y+8, first u add the three to the eight, and u get 11
the u subtract the 6y on the right side, from the one on the left, and u should get zero
Now the y should be left by it's self
so y=11
6y-3=6y+8
+3= +3
6y=6y+11
-6y=-6y
y=11, the sixes cancel out, but the y does not, becuz y trying to get it by itself.

Ha! You must be in Alegebra 1 class
Okay, the main thing for solving thsese equations is to get the variables on one side, the numbers on the other
So
whoops...
no solution...watch!
You want y's on one side
6y-6y=
now numbers on other
8+3
you get 0=11 BUT NO 0 does NOT equal one. In these kind of equations, these are FALSE equations, there is no solutions. Yes there are these kinds of equations, keep in mind
