I think you had better get another mattress as this old mattress stinks to high heaven. After you buy a new mattress make sure you put on a good mattress cover made out of some kind of plastic and it doesn`t feel like plastic when you have a sheet on it. I have one for my grandson when he visits. It sure comes in handy..

You can place the mattress outside in full sun for a few days. The old timer's use to do this and not only will it reduce the smell but it will kill all of those mites that are normally in the mattress's.

if getting a new one is not an option.. take it back out in the sun.. when washing it down(use a strong cleaner.. even laundry soap).. drench it.. and drench it again when rinsing( get the stuff out instead of letting it just dry back in).. this might actually take a few times but it help with a mattress i had a problem with too.. even leaving it in the sun helps alot.. the sun does wonders on material..good luck

I hate to tell you this- but if it's soaked in like you describe, you may be better off getting a new mattress. And I believe there are covers you can use if you believe such accidents will happen a lot.
Good luck!

My husband works for a furniture company and he said once the mattress is that bad there is nothing that can be done to salvage it. You are gonna have to replace the mattress with a new one.

There is whats called an ozone machine, after being steam cleaned by professionals they put it overnight in aroom with this machine, and in the morning it smells much better. this is expensive, it may be better to go to a furniture liquidation sale and get a new one.

You need to replace it. There is no way you can deep clean it. Check around for sales.
