if it's not what you really want to do, then don't go. you won't apply yourself and try as hard as you really can if your heart's not in it. eventually you'll decide to go though because you will realize how much better it'll make your life in the future.

That depends. There is nothing more disappointing than going to school for a particular career, then finding that you can't get a job. Unfortunately, there are plenty of schools willing to take your money and train you for jobs that are very difficult to find. I'm now 30K in debt for education loans, and I'm working for $8.00 an hour part- time. How scary is that? If you decide to go to school, make sure the field of study you have chosen is a "high demand" field. Check the Occupational Outlook Handbook. Sometimes it's not wise to just "follow your heart..."

If you're undecided now, there will always be the opportunity later. Go now if it's paid for and you feel you can apply yourself to it and make good grades. If not, then it's pretty much a waste at this point, get some experience in life, and if you need the education later, the colleges will still be there.

You should. I've never know anyone whose gone to college and said "What a waste those 4 years were". College degrees are becoming the new High School degrees. So if you have the opportunity, then take it.

i can not stress to you how important it is that you go to college. if you hate school, you might want to consider a two year college or tech school. getting any higher education is SO important when trying to obtain a well-paying career, though.
i financed my college degree myself and will be paying for it for a long time, but it was worth every single penny. even if you decide to change careers (which i am), you will still have a four year (or two year) degree that proves to employers that you am a well-rounded educated person before you even get an interview!

YES, YOU SHOULD !!!, but...
If you are asking if you should go to college, maybe you shouldn't go to college at all and start your job applications in Starbucks already !
