Rod Stewart has better songs but his voice sounds like he eats sand paper for breakfast lunch and dinner. So, if you're asking about singing talent and entertainment alone, I would rather be entertained by Barry Manilow anyday.

I think Barry Manilow too. Very romantic.

I love Barry Manilow best, his music never gets old to me, but I think they both have "made it through the rain" .

Oh gosh, it's got to depend on your mood. Rod Stewart to perk you up and Barry Manilow to mellow you out. They are great performers. I'd listen to either.

Seen both and I would have to say Rod. He made it seem very intimate. Barry is quite the performer though.

i have been a fan of Barry's since his song "Mandy" was released..32 years ago in 1974 .. and i was very lucky to actually see him in concert six years ago and at that time it had been only 26 years that i had waited to see him in person and it was worth the wait !!!!

HA HA HA! I would not choose either! Both have some decent songs, but really, I think I'd rather hear another band try to do covers of their songs to be perfectly honest.
