Funny you should ask. That was the length of time that any story should be told. You know all of the details, it was an accident, and there were no charges pressed - so it won't be reviving itself in a couple months when it goes to court. By any standard, it SHOULD be over and done with.
We're so used to the media over-dramatizing everything and finding "conspiracy" in everything remotely linked with a Republican that we feel like something is wrong when a story goes away. All that happened was they looked for someway to make it more than an accident and couldn't find it, so it went away. And, to you Liberals, therein lies the conspiracy.
