Well if you do not like being alone with him there must be a reason for that. It seems that you are very uncomfortable around him. You need to get over that, or else maybe you are not ready to date. You need to make some choices right now about what you would rather have. If you are bored of him. I think maybe it is best if you move on and find someone else when you are good and ready.

sounds like you like the idea of having a boyfriend more than having one. There is nothing that says you can't have guy-friends.
I'd find a way to tell him you just want to be friends - that you are not quite ready for the whole dating thing yet....
then... start going out with groups of people. do things in a group... chances are you will find another boy that you will like but since you are in a group there isn't any one-on-one problems to deal with.
the one other thing about this boy that bothers me is the nubmer of times he calls a day. Ususally when someone calls that many times they are insecure about what the other person is doing - like in cheating on them. One call a day should be enough (and it sounds like you would be more comforetable with that anyway). More than that and it becomes borderline stalking!!!!
Hope this helps!!! have fun!!

Maybe you want more of a challenge. It's hard to find someone that will call you even every day. Try to think of some things you want him to learn about you that he hasn't yet. Or think about things you would like to talk about when you see him. Sometimes it can be ackward for a little while. But you have to push past that point of the relationship.

Its a similar situation to many couples. The guy is obviously bessotted with you but your lack of things in common is testing you. i have 2 things which i do that work (i have been there). 1. try not to talk much during work time except maybe a nice text message to let them know you are thinking of them. this should leave you with some things to talk about later when you meet up. 2. I always try to think of 2-3 things/topics/ideas on my way to a date which i intend to bring up, it usually gets the chat flowing especially if things get awkward.
last resort would be to take up a shared past time/hobby. i would not recommend it immeadiatly as it may further highlight your problem.

Sounds like you gotta case of the nerves..., just chill, breath, you can do it!! Tell him your alittle shy or timid. If he likes you, he will help you break the ice. Sounds like he already is by all the phone calls. Good luck!

have you ever thought about talking to him and sharing with him what your interests are? communication is key in every relationship. You don't have to be interested in everything he is and he should not be forced to be interested in everything you are, but you both should be able to find some common ground unless you're too shallow to seek it out. best Wishes...

he does care about you. and you may be pushing him away by being shy and overly awkward being with him. lighten up . slowly open up to him. he likes you and i am sure he will help you .
