The flat I'm moving into has a joint sitting room and bedroom. There is hardly room for other furniture for visitors to sit on.
Should I opt for an airbed or a sofabed as my bed of choice for sleeping? Both have a causal effect and double as places to sit - I understand.

All advice welcome!!!

Airbeds have a limited life-span..
... sofa beds can be very uncomfortable...

A decent large sofa can do the job of a bed and a good place to sit... kinda depends on your budget.

Good luck with the new flat!!

Sofa bed. Airbeds need to be kept inflated and if it gets cold the air in them gets cold too and they can be very uncomfortable. You can leave the sheets and blankets on a sofa bed and just fold it back up. Easy.

Sofabed is better...they are not great but usually much more comfortable than airbeds...

However, airbeds require less storage space

sofabed for sure. air beds lose air and you end up feeling like your sleeping on the floor. plus airbeds are soooo uncomfortable

get a sofa/bed they are convient to use and will serve the purpose longer than an airbed, and if u move again and have a seperate bedroom u will already have your sofa

i would prefer the airbed because of the comfort but if it gets punctured its gone so the sofabed would be the safe choice i suppose

My friend,
I think I would opt for the sofa bed . You are hurting for space. So with the sofa bed you can fold it up and sit onit comfortably.the mattress takes up to much space. There you are a no brianer.you could probaly pick up a good used one . good luck

Check out the sofa beds carefully. Lay on it for awhile, but also sit on it . We had a sofa bed that was so uncomfortable(hard) to sit on.

What about a Futon.
They can be a chair during the day & bed at night. Excellent.
